Community event sponsorships

The National Drought and Flood Agency is committed to supporting rural and regional communities through tough times.  One of the ways we do this is by sponsoring local events which bring communities together to support each other.

Events such as agricultural shows, camp drafts, exhibitions and conferences are part of the fabric of regional Australia.  They help to strengthen social bonds and improve wellbeing in places where distance, drought, bushfires and now COVID-19 and subsequent social isolation have caused significant anxiety, hardship and distress.

Applying for sponsorship

The National Drought and Flood Agency has Regional Recovery Officers based in regional locations across Australia who are available to discuss your activity and the process of applying for sponsorship.  Find your nearest RRO.

Sponsorship guidelines can be found at the bottom of this page

“On behalf of everyone at the Katanning Agricultural Society I would like to thank you for your generous donation.  It has sent a buzz through our organisation that we are able to have the Robinson Bros play at the Show again this year.  The Show will be the highlight of the year for many coming out of COVID and bringing the community back together in our multicultural hub."
