Today CEO Shane Stone and Agency staff attended the Western Queensland Primary Health Network North West Flood Recovery Summit in Cloncurry.

It was a great opportunity to take stock of how communities are doing after the February floods, to talk about what’s next in the region’s recovery, and to identify ways to further support coordination between service providers and all levels of government.

Working together to improve the social and emotional wellbeing and resilience of our local communities is a priority for the Agency.

We know that recovery is a matter of years, not months. As the wet season approaches, it’s important that we continue to look out for each other.
