My name is Tammy Greer and I am the Regional Recovery Officer for Central NSW.
I am based in the city of Dubbo and have extensive experience working with rural and regional communities, particularly those undergoing hardship due to prolonged drought.
Prior to joining the National Drought and Flood Agency I spent 14 years with Services Australia in various roles including Community Engagement Officer and Farm Household Case Officer where I worked with farmers in drought affected Central and Far Western NSW.
As a Regional Recovery Officer my role is to drive and facilitate community consultation and collaborate with other government agencies and service providers to deliver support to farmers, small businesses and the wider Central NSW community.
Rural Australia is the backbone of this nation and I am passionate about ensuring we develop an innovative, viable and lasting agriculture sector for the benefit of this country and for future generations of farmers.
I am excited to be on the road and meeting as many of you as possible. I am committed to supporting you, your businesses and your communities in managing the effects of drought and other challenges such as COVID-19.
